The 2020 Geneva Association Ernst Meyer Prize was granted to Lu Li of Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München and Stefan Schelling of Ulm University.

The prestigious Geneva Association Ernst Meyer Prize is awarded annually for university research work in the form of a doctoral thesis which makes a significant and original contribution to the study of risk and insurance economics. The judging committee for the Geneva Association Ernst Meyer Prize is comprised of Professor Christophe Courbage (Geneva School of Business Administration, University of Applied Sciences Western Switzerland), Professor Petra Steinorth (University of Hamburg) and Professor Richard Watt (University of Canterbury, Christchurch).
