The Geneva Association is proud to announce that The Geneva Papers on Risk and Insurance – the flagship academic journal of the organisation – has reached a new milestone, achieving its highest-ever impact factor of 3.3 for 2024. This marks a significant increase from the 2023 figure of 2.0 and reflects the growing recognition of the journal’s relevance, quality, and contribution to research in insurance.

An impact factor is a widely used metric that indicates how often articles from a journal are cited, serving as a proxy for academic influence and visibility.
The Geneva Papers focuses on topics of current interest in the field of insurance economics. The journal was founded in 1976. It publishes research that bridges the gap between academics and insurance professionals and improves the scientific knowledge of the insurance industry.
