Lukas studied International Business Administration at the European University Viadrina Frankfurt (Oder) following the completion of a bachelor’s degree in philosophy and economics at the University of Bayreuth. After working on climate adaptation projects within the context of international development , he joined Munich Re in 2020. His current working focus is on how physical climate risks can affect financial institutions and how blended finance structures can support climate change mitigation and adaptation.

Leigh Wolfrom is a policy analyst in the OECD’s Directorate for Financial and Enterprise Affairs. In this role, he has provided analysis and reports to the OECD Working Party on Insurance and Pensions on a variety of disaster-risk financing issues. He led the development of the OECD guidance on building financial resilience to disaster risks, as well as OECD input into the development of the G7 High-Level Framework for Public-Private Insurance Programmes against Natural Hazards. Prior to joining the OECD, Mr. Wolfrom worked in the Financial Sector Policy Branch at the Canadian Department of Finance and at Global Affairs Canada on international financing issues.

Hélène is Director Public Policy & Regulation at the Geneva Association. She is an insurance economist and an actuary. Before the Geneva Association, she spent 10 years at the Swiss Institute of Technology, Zürich, as a researcher, lecturer, and executive director of the Risk Center, an interdisciplinary research initiative focusing on Integrative Risk Management.
