This webinar is centred around the findings of a new Geneva Association report, Gig Economy Work: Mind the protection gaps.
Speakers explored the drivers of gig economy platform work, discussed the main protection shortfalls facing giggers and investigated current and prospective approaches to closing protection gaps – all from both a European and U.S. perspective. A particular focus was on innovative insurance propositions, which effectively meet the expectations of platforms and their workers and harness the facilitating capabilities of Insurtechs.
